Chapter ⅄
Scene 17: Chandelier- antique
As a child she would wander through those rooms, filled with antiques collected by her grandparents, and she would dream of all the possible worlds that they could contain. This was one of her favorites and she could spend hours dreaming with it. She would envision it hanging on the ceiling of a very big castle, holding its multiple drops of crystals, layered in a complex and harmonic shape, almost transparent, slightly distorting the rays of light. She kept it through her life and she has it hanging in her house. It is a portal, it is a guardian, it is a window through which she can look into the past, get in contact with the imagination of her child-self, remember the world yet unknown, the power of life before it unfolds.
